About Claire Susan Ceramics
Our Story
Claire Susan Ceramics was created to share my passion for traditional wheel thrown and hand built ceramics. Our pieces are made to last, are functional and beautifully unique.
Creating slowly in a fast world takes around three weeks. Once created, our individual items are dried over several days and then carefully fettled before their first bisque firing. The pieces are then delicately cleaned and painted by hand, ready for their final glaze fire in the kiln, before cooling and moving over to our sales line.
