About Claire Susan Ceramics
Our Story
Claire Susan Ceramics was founded to share my passion for traditional wheel thrown, hand built and slip cast ceramics. Pieces that are made to last, are functional and beautifully unique.
Over my years of creating with clay, I have come to realise there are so many ways to work with it, and I have a deep respect for the skill and experience required for each style. My philosophy is to create slowly in a fast world, to realise art and its functionalism is not instantaneous, and that it teaches us many things about ourselves and the medium we work with.
Get in touch to find out more or, if you'd like to experience a clay discovery workshop with me, I can give you an insight into working with clay, wheel throwing and hand building. The workshop is an opportunity to learn, create and still the mind. Workshops are usually one to one for two hours and cost £60.
