About Claire Susan Ceramics
Our Story
Claire Susan Ceramics was founded to share my passion for traditional wheel thrown, hand built and slip cast ceramics. Our pieces are made to last, are functional and beautifully unique.
Over my years of creating with clay, I have come to realise there are so many ways to work with it, and I have a deep respect for the skill and experience required for each style. My philosophy is to create slowly in a fast world, to realise art and its functionalism is not instantaneous, and that it teaches us many things about ourselves and the medium we work with.
